MENARINI AND THE MAGGIO MUSICALE FIORENTINO TOGETHER IN SOCIAL PROJECT

   

 

The social project to allow young people and disadvantaged individuals experience the world of opera continues

 

16th October 2018 – Florence Italy. Opera, ballet, classical music and more. After the success of last year’s project, Florence-based Pharmaceutical Group Menarini, has chosen to continue its sponsorship of one of the prestigious cultural institutions in Florence: the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

This year, Menarini has purchased 1,250 tickets to the Maggio Musicale which will be offered to people in economic difficulty as well as the associations that the Group has always supported such as the Volpi Rossi Menarini wheelchair-basketball team, the Astrolabio association for the PITA project (for children and adolescents affected by autism or multiple disabilities), the Tommasino Bacciotti Foundation and the families living in the 40 public housing units renovated by the company.

The project aimed at encouraging adolescents and young people shall also continue and the children of Menarini employees between the ages of 14 to 21 will also have the opportunity to spend an evening at the theatre in the company of a friend.

Through this project, Menarini is able to give hundreds of people the chance to enjoy an evening at the theatre for the very first time.”
