Fair Play Menarini Award

Fair Play Menarini International Award

Since 1997 the Fair Play Menarini International Award has been promoting the noble values of good sportsmanship. It is an award given every year to international champions who have distinguished themselves as models of ethics, loyalty, and respect - both in competition and in life.

The Fair Play Menarini Ambassadors

Whoever receives the award becomes a Fair Play Menarini Ambassador, in acknowledgment of exceptional sporting feats achieved in the name of fair play.

Among the over 400 ambassadors in the Awards’ Hall of Fame, there are sporting legends such as Federica Pellegrini, Carlton Myers, Javier Zanetti, Casey Stoner, Carolina Kostner, Edwin Moses, Ian Thorpe, Gabriel Batistuta, Giancarlo Fisichella, Tommie Smith, Stefan Edberg, and Fabio Cannavaro.

Ambassadors and awardees are not just international stars. The Fair Play Menarini Award for the “Young Athletes” category aims to showcase the most admirable gestures made by the younger generations, and the Fiamme Gialle "Study and Sport" Special Award celebrates young champions who have achieved excellent results both on a sporting level and at school.
