For more than forty years, there has been a special section in our branch in Germany called the Social Enterprise Department. This is an area of the company where people with intellectual disabilities work, supported by social workers. Their contribution ranges from production tasks to the organisation of events and initiatives open to all our staff.

Perfectly integrated within the company, this department has grown over the years, passing from seven to more than 30 workers involved in the social inclusion project. It is no coincidence that, for its development, Berlin-Chemie Menarini was awarded the prestigious Responsible Care® 2018 prize by the Chemical Industry Association. An important piece of the Berlin-Chemie Menarini jigsaw, as is also demonstrated by its location in a purpose-built structure designed to make the work of employees more comfortable: large, bright rooms, ergonomic workstations, and a spacious relaxation room overlooking a luxuriant garden.
