Responsibility

Housing Project

Ten low-income residential homes renovated every year, from 2014 to 2017. The Housing Project, implemented by Menarini in collaboration with the Municipality of Florence, has brought a fundamental change to the lives of many people, that of being able to count on a safe roof for themselves and their loved ones, and to live in functional and comfortable spaces which they can call home again.

Forty families in financial difficulty have been given the keys to the same number of homes. Menarini has taken charge of refurbishing empty council flats located in the neediest neighbourhoods of the Tuscan capital. From electrical installations to bathroom and kitchen linings and fixtures, everything has been carefully arranged to accommodate adults and children struggling through a period of fragility. This is how the Housing Project properties have come back to life, exactly like their new tenants.
