G Suite which will allow its 17,000 employees to work together from anywhere in the world
in real time and with the utmost ease

Florence, 16 April 2018 - The Menarini Group, the leading Italian pharmaceutical company in the world with a presence in 136 countries, has announced a new partnership with Google for a digital transformation project. At the heart of this journey is “smart working”, a new way of operating which is easier and more flexible. The 17,000 employees in the Group will be able to work together in real time across the world thanks to G Suite, Google Cloud’s business solution that allows companies to work together and share information.

Menarini has always promoted the use of innovative technologies and decided on Google Cloud since it allows its personnel to work together faster and more effectively. G Suite is a series of different programmes which are accessible on different devices and which allow documents or work sheets to be accessed in real time. This allows for simultaneous editing of a single document shared within a team. The rest of the suite: Gmail for corporate email, the Calendar for organising meetings and Hangouts/Meet for business discussions and video conferences.

In approximately six months the company has migrated all users in the Group to Google Cloud, launching a cultural and organisational change and supporting the productivity of individuals and work teams in the best way possible. The transition has been coordinated by Information and Communication Technology Management Team and The Group’s Organisational Development Team, using targeted measures designed to facilitate the process of adopting the new platform. Through G Suite a multi-lingual portal has also been made available, designed to help all personnel across the world through video tutorials, short instruction manuals and FAQs.
