East Coast Park is one of Singapore's most treasured urban getaways, with a vast beach not far from the centre, dotted by restaurants and recreational activities amid the swaying coconut palms, where parties and picnics are often held. But this lush oasis of peace is not immune to environmental pollution. Menarini employees have seen with their own eyes the negative effect that rubbish thrown in the sea has on our ecosystem and threw themselves into the task of cleaning the beach in an immersive experience of volunteer work. The result of two hours of work was over 100 kg of rubbish collected and brought to the dump.
