Lucia and Alberto Giovanni Aleotti receive the EY Shape the Future Award for Menarini
An award that acknowledges those business people who can look to the future of their companies with vision, responsibility, and commitment. Menarini won the EY Shape the Future Award that was conferred to entrepreneurs and company shareholders Lucia and Alberto Giovanni Aleotti, in recognition of their “significant contribution to cutting-edge scientific research in healthcare, which has been undertaken with a responsible commitment and has led to tangible results, making them a benchmark for innovation, vision, and the ability to shape the future, enhancing people's lives.”
The awards ceremony took place at the Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan, an event which brought together some of the country's most important business entities. This accolade also has a strong symbolic value for the Aleotti family as, in the year 2007, the father of the company’s current shareholders, Alberto Sergio Aleotti, received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the “Global” category. Today, with the EY Shape the Future award, Menarini’s entrepreneurial path continues, a journey that has led to both the growth and internationalization of Menarini, steadfast in its founding values.
“Receiving the EY Shape the Future Award moves us deeply as it reflects the essence of our way of conducting business”, commented Lucia and Alberto Giovanni Aleotti. “We believe that ‘shape the future’ means turning a vision into a long-term commitment, boldly investing in those therapeutic areas where there is still a high unmet patient need, and developing the talent of our employees, whilst maintaining a strong sense of social responsibility at all times. We thank EY for this award which shall motivate us to continue moving forward on our entrepreneurial pathway with even greater determination.”
