Lucia Aleotti receives The ‘Gold Collar for Sporting Merit’ from Coni
Rome, November 3rd, 2025 – The Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) has today awarded Lucia Aleotti, shareholder and member of the Menarini Board, the ‘Gold Collar for Sporting Merit’ for the role of the Fair Play Menarini International Award in promoting the values of fairness in sport. This is the highest national sporting honour bestowed by CONI.
The award ceremony took place this morning in Rome, in the presence of the Minister for Sport, Andrea Abodi, and top government officials, CONI President, Luciano Buonfiglio, and Marco Giunio De Sanctis, President of the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP).

This recognition honours the effort and energy devoted to sport by Lucia and Alberto Giovanni Aleotti through the Fair Play Menarini Foundation. The Fair Play Menarini International Award celebrates athletes around the world who have become ambassadors of ethics, loyalty, and respect, with special attention given to acts of fair play shown by younger generations.
