VaxYnethic- Menarini Group: young talents for a better tomorrow

PRESS RELEASE

Rapolano (Siena), Italy, 07 November 2016: Six men and four women under the age of 30, all with fantastic degrees in the fields of chemistry, biology and pharmaceuticals, and many of whom also boast post-graduate training, in some cases completed abroad. They are the first 10 researchers to be employed at VaxYnethic, a joint venture of Menarini NewTech and BiosYnth, and will be taking up the difficult challenge of proving that it is possible to excel in research and innovation in Italy, too. The ten newly employed researchers will carry out the roles of process chemists or control assistants in an innovative vaccine-production process.

The new researchers will join 250 young employees, all of whom highly qualified, who have been hired by the Menarini Group in Italy since the start of the year. A ray of enthusiasm, energy and creativity, which allows us to look to the future with optimism and trust in the knowledge that investing in young people is the only possible choice for building a better tomorrow.

“The selection process for the ten talents hired at VaxYnethic was truly inspiring,” – declared Massimo Antonio Galeazzi, HR Director for Menarini Italy – “the energy, passion and hope expressed by these candidates allowed us to ascertain without doubt that we had found the right people. We are happy to contribute to keeping young talents in Italy, such as Elena Ragnoni, who has returned having just finished her post-doctorate in Germany, Francesco Livi who has had experiences in the USA and Denmark, or Simone Giovani who completed his training in the USA”.

“These young minds, working together in the industrial effort that VaxYnethic has undertaken, demonstrate to the world just what the young people of our country can achieve” - affirmed Massimo Porro, VaxYnethic General Manager.
