Responsibility

A more welcoming school

There are just six teachers at the Kojchavej Vitaya Institute, located about 85 kilometres from Bangkok, to take care of 65 students and they often find themselves without sufficient books and teaching material. So, Menarini Day is a special day in this primary school, dedicated to making the classrooms and areas more welcoming in which the children spend most of their time every day.

The project involved the employees of Menarini Thailand and their families, who got busy helping to extend the library and plant trees in the school’s garden. Growing vegetables is one of the activities involving the students which, in addition to being an educational and fun pastime for them, also helps to improve the quality of the food in the canteen, providing a diet of fresh, healthy food.
