Responsibility

Working to bring cheer to a school in Thailand

At the Kojchavej Vitaya school, around 85 km from Bangkok, there are just 6 teachers to take care of the 65 students and there are often shortages of books and teaching materials. For this elementary school, Menarini Day is a special day dedicated to making the classrooms and areas where the children spend a large portion of their lives more welcoming places to be. As part of the project, Menarini Thailand employees and their families get to grips with various tasks in this school in the Ayutthaya province, such as expanding the library and planting trees in the garden outside. The improvements made also include planting fruits and vegetables, which not only makes for a fun and educational pastime for pupils, but also improves the quality of meals from the canteen, putting fresh produce straight from the garden onto the table.
